September 2022 Fundraiser

September is Childhood Cancer Awareness Month. 3 Feet High and Fighting started as a walk team, walking to help raise money for cancer research. That first walk fundraiser had a superhero theme. The name, "3 Feet High and Fighting," is a metaphor for the youngest victims of cancer and blood disorders.

This is Laney's 10th year cancer free, and to celebrate we made new 3 Feet High and Fighting t-shirts, hoodies, bags, and stickers.

All the proceeds from the sale of our 3 Feet High and Fighting merchandise will be donated to the oncology program at Children's Mercy Hospital, in Kansas City.

Our fundraising event ended October 5, 2022, at 11:59 p.m. Thanks to the generosity of our supporters, we raised almost $700! This has been one of our most successful fundraising efforts to date.

If you missed the fundraising event, you can donate directly to Children's Mercy hospital.

Our fighter was just eighteen months old when she started her fight, and almost three years old when she earned the title, "cancer free." She's not three feet tall anymore, but we've kept the name. Any money we raise is meant to help all kids, it's not just about us. We have been extremely fortunate, and we want to do whatever we can to help.
