Donate to Children's Mercy

If you missed our September fundraiser and you still want to join the fight against childhood cancer, you can make a donation to your local children's hospital. We've provided a link below, and instructions for using the online form to make a donation to Children's Mercy hospital.

Helpful information

The instructions below provide information that will help you make an online donation to Children's Mercy hospital. These instructions are specific to the Children's Mercy online donation form, (as of October 2022.)

Note: There are a few required fields in the form, like name and email. Much of the information described below is optional.

The form will ask for the following information:

  • Is this a one time or monthly donation?
  • Donation amount
  • Do you want to dedicate your donation "in honor" or "in memory" of someone?

  • If you're not dedicating your donation, you'll be asked to provide the following information:

  • What (area/purpose) would you like your donation to support?
  • Your information: name, email, notification preference, and phone (optional)
  • Other designation, (if you chose "Other" from the support options above)
  • What was the inspriation for your donation?

  • Otherwise, if you want to dedicate your donation to someone, select that option, and you will be asked to provide some addtional information:

  • Is your dedication: "in honor of", or "in memory of"?
  • The first and last name of the person you are honoring
  • (Optional) the email of the person to be notified about this donation
  • The first and last name of the person who would receive notification of this donation. This could the parents of current or former patient, or someone related to the patient who inspired the gift.
  • Do you want to send a printed card? If selected, you'll be asked for address information.
  • Do you want to include an e-Card? If so, select an image and provide a message for to the recipient.

If you would like to make your donation in Laney's honor, please use the following information:

  • Honoree's first and last name: Laney W. (We're not listing her full name here, for privacy; however, if you know it, feel free to use it in this form.)
  • Recipient's email: laney@3feethighandfighting.org
  • Recipient's first and last name: same as above

If you want to send a printed card, contact us for the address.

If you want to direct your gift to the Children's Mercy oncology program:

  • When asked, "What would you like your donation to support?" select "Other".
  • In the field labeled, "Other designation," type, "Cancer Center," or, "oncology program."

We appreciate your support, whether you're directly supporting our fundraising efforts, or you're donating directly to Children's Mercy, (or your local children's hospital.) No donation is too small, every dollar counts. There have been huge strides in treatments and they are improving outcomes every day.
